Workshops for Children

Music is the Soundtrack of Life is a collaborative, hands-on workshop that explores the ideas of music development, culture and human connection through sound and emotion. It also explores ways that music can build confidence as well as strengthen communication and encourage self identity within children. This workshop explores music genres from all over the world and recognizes how skills in the performing arts can be applicable in areas outside of the stage.

Workshops for Teens, Young Adults and Adolescents

1. Music Frequencies and the effects they have on Humans & Art - This workshop explores music frequencies and the emotional effects it has. This can help understand how music can be used as a tool to evoke a particular emotion. We explore the history of music in war, how it was used during political and social injustices in history and how we can use it today. We also learn how creatives such as film scorers, playwrights , musical theatre actors and other on-stage performers can use this to their advantage.

2. Walking the Path as a Creative and Avoiding The Detours - This workshop focuses on rising above any negative influence or distractions that may arise while walking on the path of your dreams. As a creative person, there are many roadblocks and difficulties such as imposter syndrome, financial hardships, unsupportive family or friends, lack of resources, pressure from society's career standards and more. We explore ways to manage these hardships, resources that are available to assist and healthy new habits that can be formed to ensure a more positive creative experience.

Workshops for Adults

1. Walking the Path as a Creative and Avoiding The Detours ( as mentioned above)

2. Supporting a young creative / Using your resources to Independent/Local Art - This workshop is for anyone who may not be in the arts themselves but has a loved one who may be pursuing a career in the industry and wants to understand how they can be an asset to their journey. This is also for those who are avid art supporters and want to figure out more untraditional ways to support the Arts.

3. Music Therapy and How it can help with Mental Health and Meditation - This workshop explores how music can be used for therapeutic purposes. Hands on exercises are used to experience a sense of tranquility, focus and clarity. Brittney Crush uses her voice and other instruments to center individuals and also leaves them with exclusive online access to these sounds so they can do these exercises at home. No prior music or singing experience necessary.
